DETAILED ITINERARY
Day 1: Arrive at Entebbe Airport. Pick up and transfer to the booked Hotel in Kampala.

Dinner and overnight: Sheraton and Serena
Day 2: Transfer to the edge of Kibale Forest National Park.
Leave Kampala for chimpanzee trekking in Kibale forest. Your driver guide will pick you up at the hotel and transfer you to kibale national park . As you drive through the countryside, enjoy the remarkable landscapes, traditional homes and catch glimpses of the different striking bird species. Have a stopover for lunch in Fort portal town – the tourism capital of Uganda because of the beautiful landscapes and attractions. You will arrive at your lodging for the night in the Crater lakes region
Diner and overnight at kibale forest camp
Day 3: Chimp trekking Kibale Forest and the afternoon (evening) Bigodi swamp walk
Your driver guide will transfer you to the briefing place right after breakfast, he will then hand in your details and permits for registration and allocation of chimpanzee community to trek. You will then be allocated to a chimpanzee community and your ranger guide will lead you on the trek in search of this great ape. Watch the chimpanzees in their natural habitat, as they swing from the branches in the canopy high above the forest floor, feed, play and rest.
In the afternoon, explore the Bigodi village. You have opportunity to visit a swamp with abundant butterflies, plants, animals and spectacular birds like Great Blue Turaco and will be of great interest to birders. After this experience you will take a village walk that will lead you to the Coffee experience, banana bear making, busked making and traditional healer.

Day 4 Transfer to Queen Elizabeth NP, relax and proceed for the afternoon boat trip along the Kazinga Channel.
Todays you will have relaxed breakfast and check out of the lodge to transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park with me interesting views along the way like plenty of crater lakes and beautiful sceneries along the way reaching Queen Elizabeth national park by lunch time and check into the booked lodge for relaxation lunch
In the afternoon you will be taken for the adventure boat cruise on Kazinga channel that gives you chance to explore more wildlife on water like schools of hippos, crocodiles, elephats coling off their bodies, antelopes taking water and mote water birds like African skimmers, yellow billed stork, African pied king among others

Day 5 Sunrise game drive – Kasenyi plains. Head to Ishasha sector and connect to Bwindi
A warm-up cup of coffee, as you set off for an early morning game drive (about 6.30am), this is an awesome experience to spot the animals in natural habitats. With higher chances of spotting elephants, solitary cape buffaloes, hyenas, lions, leopard, antelopes, warthogs and beautiful birds. This park has spectacular sceneries including Crater Lakes and rolling savannah plains overlooking the snowcapped of The Rwenzoris Mountain ranges continue with the game drive to the southern remote sector of Queen Elizabeth nation park ishasha sector known for its rare tree climbing lions. Your will be likely to meet some wildlife along the way like hippos, hyenas, elephants, leopards, waterbucks and many more later have lunch in ishasha and later proceed to with safari to bwindi impenetrable forest national park

Day 6 Gorilla trekking Bwindi impenetrable national park
Uganda Gorilla trekking safari – Today early morning your driver guide will pick you up from the lodge and transfer you to the briefing point at 7am before you start your gorilla trek at 8 am. At the briefing point, the Uganda wildlife authority rangers will welcome you and given seats until time of briefing as your driver guide registers you with the ranger on duty to be allocated a gorilla family.
Eventually the ranger guide will share a short briefing about the experience in the park and how you should interact with nature and the people. You will then be allocated a gorilla family to trek after which you will start the walk into the forest. Depending on location of your gorilla family, you might need to drive to the trail head of the allocated gorilla family.
We advise you to hire a porter to carry your day pack because sometimes the gorillas could be located a distance from the start of your trek, they can also help push or pull you along the steep slippery paths in the forest.

Day 7: Transfer to Kigali via Cyanika border
Today after breakfast you will check out the lodge and transfer to Cyanika border check in contuniue with the driver to the country of thousands hills and enjoy the beautiful sceneries along the way with plenty of tea plantations reaching Kigali by lunch time and check into the booked lodge for the rest of the day

Day 8: Kigali city tour and Fly to Bujumbura.
For this Kigali city tour we shall have all the proposed sites shared by our driver guide and you have the liberty to choose which you prefer to visit and which should be eliminated from the list. Engage with you driver guide concerning your interests while on this tour but remember all your requests must be realistic and within the city.
The Kigali city tour takes you to the major historical and cultural sites of Rwanda. You will visit Kandt house or museum of natural history where Dr. Richard Kandt the first German colonial resident of Rwanda resided. His residence at the base of Mount Jali and Mount Kigali in the heart of the city is now the Natural History Museum in honor of his work, and is one of the stops on the tour. This can take about 1 hour in total depending on how you engage the museum guide about what you are learning about Kigali and Rwanda in general.
We proceed with the guided tour to the fast growing neighborhoods of Kigali that are changing the face of the city. There is opportunity to visit the presidential museum which is the residence of two of the former Presidents of Rwanda, here you will have an opportunity to learn a bit about the political history of Rwanda. We drive through the older commercial and residential areas with a major stop at Kigali genocide memorial site commemorating the 1994 Rwandan Genocide.
We have opportunities to visit the craft centers where you are able to purchase souvenirs from your stay in Rwanda in turn supporting families of the women involved in making the items. Lunch will be at a local restaurant where you will have a taste of Rwandan traditional food. You are free to choose a cosmopolitan restaurant for a more diverse menu. After the city tour drive to Kigali international airport for flight to BuJumbura

Day 9 Bujumbura city tour and Fly back home
After morning breakfast at your hotel, our guide will pick you up and transfer you to the city Museum where you will see animals in the Zoo that is being used as an educational center for the people and the students of Burundi as one way of educating locals about conservation.
After you then drive to the historic site where Livingstone -Stanley spend the night and you will learn about the history of explorers in Burundi and after your transfer back to Bujumbura for lunch and relax until your departure flight
