Akagera National Park, located in eastern Rwanda, is Central Africa’s largest protected wetland and the last remaining refuge for savannah-adapted species in the country. The park’s landscape is a stunning mix of rolling hills, acacia woodlands, and a complex system of lakes and papyrus swamps.
