Overview

Located in the arid northern reaches of Kenya, Samburu and Buffalo Springs National Reserves offer a starkly beautiful landscape of red earth, doum palms, and the life-giving Ewaso Nyiro River. This region is famous for its “Special Five”—unique wildlife species found only north of the equator.
