6 Days Uganda wildlife safari from Rwanda

Uganda is a ray of an amazing wildlife experience in Africa, it is commonly termed as the pearl of Africa, the geographical composition of the country is such a blend that will leave you wowing about how much you can see small as it is, our 6 days Uganda wildlife Safari begins Rwanda and ends in Entebbe, we will visit the Bwindi impenetrable national park home to the mountain gorillas, Queen Elizabeth national park Uganda’s second largest national park and the Kibale forest national park for chimpanzee, the forest is also termed as the capital of primates in Uganda, besides the chimpanzee it is also home to 13 other primate kinds

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival and transfer to Bwindi impenetrable national park

Upon arrival, our company representative will pick you from the Kigali international airport and transfer to Bwindi impenetrable national park, he will help you through the order crossing at cyanika and registrations, the journey to arrive at the destination takes aprroximately +/-6 hours’ drive , we will reach the lodge in time for a hot lunch and an afternoon Batwa community experience, this is one of the best ways to meet the local people of Bwindi they used to live in the forest until they were evicted due to conservation purposes however they continued living in the neighboring villages they will show you how they lived and survived in the forest  dinner and staying overnight at your preferred lodge

Day 2: Gorilla trekking experience

Morning breakfast after which we will transfer the park headquarters for a briefing from the authorities, these will tell you of the does and do nots  while with the primates, gorillas live in families of up to 20 members led by a male silverback, the families keep moving from one point of the park to another, they solemnly feed in one place in order to give room to more plants to grow baby gorillas live under the care of their parents until the age of 2 years old, in groups of 8 members you will be allowed to trek it takes 2-8 hours doing the activity an hour is allowed while with them interact and take pictures, you will then return to meet your guide who will take you to the facility for your stay overnight

Day 3: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park

Queen Elizabeth national park is an intimate destination of Uganda, it was gazette among the first conservation areas of the country, is comes as the second largest initially it was named as Kazinga national park, however following the visit of the Queen of England its name was changed and named after her, we will arrive on game drive on this day through the south, the drive past the crater lake points gives excellent views of the biodiverse national park area, dinner and staying overnight will be served at your choice of lodge for the travels.

Day 4: Game drives and Boat cruise along the Kazinga channel

We will wake up to a mouth dropping breakfast, transfer to the Kasenyi plains in search of animals, the drive along the floor of the Albertine rift valley is rewarding , expect to see animals all over the park including lions, water bucks, Buffaloes, elephants, and many species of antelopes, we will return for lunch at the lodge  for lunch and an afternoon boat cruise along the Kazinga channel, it is a long stream connecting 2 rift valley lakes of Edward and George it is acts as an animal magnet in the park as most of them collect along the region for water and pastures, it is also having one of the world’s highest population densities of hippos in the world retuning to the lodge for dinner and stay overnight at the lodge that has been booked for your dinner and staying overnight

Day 5: Transfer to Kibale forest national park and Chimpanzee tracking

We will have an early morning breakfast after check out of the lodge and transfer to Kibale forest national park, we will arrive in time for lunch and an afternoon session of the Chimpanzee tracking is an epic experience and most sought of on an African safari, following a morning breakfast, we will be drive to Kayanchu visitor center for tracking the day begins at 8:00 am with a briefing and in groups of 6 you will be allocated a chimpanzee family to track, the lead guide will take you through the trails of the forest in search of Man’s closest relative they have been scientifically proven to share up to 98% of the human DNA,  they live in troops of up to 100members  left by a male, they are characterized by their social behavior and intelligence, it takes 2-3 hours upon meeting the primates an hour is allowed and there after you return to the lodge for dinner and staying overnight.

Day 6: Departure

Following an early morning breakfast, we will return to Entebbe in order for you to catch your international flight back home.
