6 Days Uganda Wildlife Safari with Mountain Gorillas consists of amazing gorilla trekking safari experience in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, wildlife safari encounter in Queen Elizabeth National Park and Chimpanzee tracking safari in Kibale forest National Park, this itinerary is designed to enable a tourist experience Uganda’s best tourist attraction, the safari starts with gorilla tracking from Bwindi then go for game drive and boat cruise in Queen Elizabeth National Park and lastly do chimpanzee tracking in Kibale forest as you drive back to Kampala.
Day 1: Drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
The safari starts with a morning pick up from safari lodge then drive west wards heading to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park for the amazing gorilla tracking safari. A lunch break will offer along the way either in Mbarara city or Kabale city depending on travel time, then proceed to the park premises as you check in at the booked safari lodge late in the evening. Day 2: Gorilla Trekking Experience.
Having taken an early morning breakfast, we drive to the briefing center for gorilla family grouping and a short historical study about the impenetrable forest plus the gorilla trekking do’s and don’ts before you head into the jungle for the amazing gorilla trekking safari experience where on meeting these gentle primates you will be given an hour to monitor them feed and play with young ones, after the amazing encounter travel back to the safari lodge then get ready for the evening community walk. Meal plan: B/L/D and Accommodation: Rushaga Gorilla Camp for Midrange Option.
Day 3: Drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park via Ishasha Sector.
After breakfast, you will be driven to Queen Elizabeth National Park through Ishasha sector as we conduct a tree climbing lion game drive around ishasha sector then later proceed to the booked safari lodge for dinner and overnight. Meal plan: B/L/D and Accommodation: Ishasha Wilderness Camp for Luxury option.
Day 4: Morning Game Drive and Afternoon Kazinga channel Boat cruise.
After an early morning breakfast, you will leave for short game drive in Ishasha and thereafter drive to Kasenyi area for another game drive and later check in at the lodge for lunch before going for afternoon Kazinga channel boat cruise then drive back to the lodge for dinner and overnight. Meal plan: B/L/D and accommodation at Mweya safari lodge for Luxury option.
Day 5: Transfer to Kibale National Park and afternoon Bigodi Swamp walk
After breakfast at the lodge, we shall drive to Kibale National Park the Home and capital of the chimpanzee and other different species of primates, on arrival you will check in at the booked safari lodge then get ready for a guided nature walk around Bigodi swamp, here you encounter lots of bird species and other primate species. Meal plan: B/L/D and Accommodation: Kibale Forest Camp or Chimpanzee forest Guest House for Midrange option.
Day 6: Chimpanzee trekking experience and Transfer to Kampala.
After breakfast you will be driven to the park headquarters for briefing about the chimp trekking do’s and don’ts before heading to the Jungle for the amazing experience on return, we shall move back to the lodge for lunch then check out and drive back to Kampala city or Entebbe for your flight. Meal plan: B&L.
